City Council Meetings
The Myrtle Creek City Council takes every effort to hear a citizen's point of view on how the city is governed. All citizens are welcomed and encouraged to attend all public meetings of the city council. During the "Citizens Heard on Non-Agenda Items" portion of the City Council Agenda, any topic that is of a concern to a citizen may be presented to the Mayor and City Council for their consideration. If a topic of concern is on the "Regular" section of the City Council Agenda the Mayor will allow citizens opportunity to offer comments on action items after staff has given their report.
All meetings are open to the public with the exception of executive sessions which are closed to the public and must meet Oregon State Statues requirements in order to be held.
The City Council meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 P.M.
